Reason: Enrollment in Chiang Rai Grace Foundation Education/Missionary Center has rapidly increased, based on a Sep 30, 2023 report by Ms. Li Ping-xiu, Center Director :

2021 Number: 80 students

2022 Number: 150 students

2023 Number: 200 + students

Age Groups: Children and Young adults

Primary Language groups: Chinese, Myanmar, Miao, and Thai

Health Status: Need improvements

(1) physically (in their physical and dental health, nutrition and appropriate exercises);

(2) mentally (in those who are  fearful, resigned, insecure, powerless, helpless, and those who feel deserted, cursed and depressed);

(3) socially (in those who are uneducated/ illiterate, or those who are isolated without any family support, and lacking in living/employment skills); and

(4) spiritually (in those who feel empty, in lack of direction or hope for the future).

What Grace Foundation Education Center can do for them:

  1. Provision of basic needs (like food and drink; shelter and community)
  2. Empowerment (learning new living and job skills, as well as fluency in local languages)
  3. Facilitation of growth (physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually) with special emphasis on Christian growth and evangelism. There is already fruit in this missionary focus, since there are already now in the local Bethel Seminary 8 students from Grace Foundation.

However, expenditure has certainly gone up. With 200 + students in the Grace Foundation Education/Missionary Center, the monthly expenditure will exceed US$20,000 in the coming months.

We would need to pray about this urgent need. Your support in this very worthwhile cause will be much appreciated.

This appeal comes from all who are involved in Grace Foundation International. Rev. Dr. Stephen Lee (Chairman of Grace Foundation International) and Ms. Li Ping-Xiu (Director, Grace Foundation Education/Missionary Center, Chiangrai, Thailand) have expressed their concern in pictured texts that are perhaps too small to read. *
